(no subject)
As a responsible adult in the process of finishing up the first lease to ever have my name on it, i'd like to announce that we got 3 noise complaints yesterday for the party ally threw! victort! the letter from mgmt was hilarious, something along the lines of:
"you make an ipmortant decision when selecting your home... it is our goal to provide every resident with the finest rental experience possible..
... we have received 3 complaints from those living near you [including one across the street]...
thank you in advance for your cooperation..."
I can't tell if they wrote it with restrained laughter, or if they've just never had to deal with roudy college interns before, but besides the totally useless security guard that i conversed with BUSTED-style last night, i don't see them threatening us with anything. Which considering how fucking loud ~dozen drunks in one room were, i think is a total win :D
in other news, found out that my sister got deathly sick in mexico and is now recuperating in san diego. which i find kind of ironic considering her plans for the trip. oh well, hope she's ok.
