Well I am right in the thick of things at the course. It is very busy right now and I am for once at peace with myslef. Odd it would seem that my work had some cosmic relation to my personal happiness but indeed it does. I am greatful that I am......A. making money.....B. doing something that I love C. With people that I enjoy to spend time with ....really, considering how many hours one spends at work, it is probably beneficial to find at least something you love about it.
On a sadder note, I had an unfortunate run in with my borther this morning. He is a fascinating creature and that is the best I can come up with for the moment. I really can't stand him and to be totally honest, he is the one and only person in the world that can make me shake with rage within minutes of being in his presence. He came to claim a bunch of his crap that he has been told to remove for 2 years- count em........ 2 years. Finally I took it upon myslef to remove it myself with the help of a dumpster- it really and truly was crap- not even "one mans junk is another mans treasure" kind of stuff- real crap. Things like empty buckets a ripped tent, a ski-doo from 1970 that has been rotting in the back yard for 15 years. So he showed up and had a little hissy fit ranting and screaming and such. He had my mother in tears....but that is what he excels in- just a total and complete jackass.
On a much much brighter note, I got to meet the latest member of my family today. Noah Brandon Alexander Judson. He is technically my cousin but his mother is more like a sister to me so it's kind of like a brand new nephew and he is soooo coooool! He was born Saturday at 5pm and when I saw him today, I thought he was going to have that alien scrunched up alien like look to him but he didn't at all-every once in awhile he would give me the skunk eye look and he resembled Thom York of Radiohead- hahahahahaha. Funny story actually, his mother is 1/4 black with brown eyes, his father has brown hair and blue eyes and the child was born a red head! Neither parents expected it at all but nonetheless he is perfect! I always forget how small people start out- he was born 7 pounds 2 ounces- that is pretty small he fit on one of my arms from palm to elbow for christ sakes. Just an absolute angel! It was a fabulous afternoon with Miss Mommy Naomii!
My house is still and I think forever will be under construction. It's ok though it is for the greater good. My sheds have been re-done and one has been transformed into a patio bar- very exciting. I have a new bed and matress set- lovely and my new couch is coming tomorrow- yeah I bit the bullet and succumbed to the fact that I am in a stable relationship with a man that I love- it is a scary scary thing to realize that. I have always been relatively flighty and real commitmentphobe- like the sharing kind of really freaks me out. I am alright as long as I am on my own ground with my own stuff but when you start making large purchases with another person and seriously talking real estate- it becomes very very real- and scary. I am taking it all in baby steps, he thinks it is hilarious and I am sure wonders what in the hell happened to freak me out so much but that in itself is another story all together. SO! I have been making regular trips to home depot and to Ikea- I love Ikea though so that is alright- slowly but surely it is all coming together piece by piece. I had to make several trips to the dump and rent one 6 yard dumpster to make it the way it is but, like I said, it is all for the greater good.
So that is pretty much the long and the short of it all. I will try to keep this up to date more often- it would seem that updates come really easy after I have had a few Red Barons. Heeheehee- doesn't everything become easier after a few beer though- really?
