Skill level: I have been studying French for about nine years but still working on it and it's my most advanced language other than English, I'm in my second year of Italian I'm doing Higher, I've just started intermediate 1 Spanish in August. I'm interested in Portuguese and Swedish but I only know the basics.

I'm nearly 19, I'm at college and studying Higher French, Higher Italian and Intermediate 1 Spanish. I've been doing French for many years now and this is my second attempt at Higher (I already have a C), with the Italian I was kind of flung in at the deep end because last year I done intermediate 1 (I got an A) but there was no intermediate 2 class so I begged to be pushed up a level and I think I'm coping okay, but the classes are a little rushed since we only meet one night a week. The Spanish is at the lowest level and I'm managing fine with it so far, but for all the languages it'd be great to talk to other ppl who are either natives or studying the same languages. I mentioned Portuguese and Swedish, they just both seem like really interesting languages ... do I really need a reason? I just have a compulsion to learn languages!!! I'm looking forward to hearing from other likeminded peeps.
