Ok, so the back story. I am on a school listserv, which means that I am bombarded, daily, with Univ spam. So I get this random email from some equally random person (it was also sent out to twenty-five or so other people on this listserv), the title is above, and this is why I hate people.
"just wanted to tell everyone...dont ever send me this sort of bullshit again. i
got this 4 times. microsoft and aol teaming up? while i doubt this, it is
possible, i guess. the part i strenously question is this,
"You are bound to get at least

> $10,000.00." the email then goes on to say that he visited his girlfriend's
uncle(or something like that) and she showed him a valid check for something
like $4300. assuming i believe the girl's uncle who i have never met...the
payoff is still less than half of what the email assumes it to be. by the way,
i doubt this girl exists, much less has an uncle. beyond that, the idea of aol
and microsoft not only coexisting but establishing a partnership is
incomprehensible to me. when one of you can show me a personal check written
out to you, i will concede your point. until then, please do not email me with
this garbage."
Now then..."the idea of aol and microsoft not only coexisting but establishing a partnership is incomprehensible to me," I believe this says it all.
And there you have it ladies and gentlemen, AOL and Microsoft coexisting is "incomprehensible".
Oh, and "by the way, i doubt this girl exists, much less has an uncle," that sums up anything else I might have left out as a reason for hating people in general.
