It has been pointed out to me that planning my lj posts is perhaps not enough and I should at some point write them down and post them to my lj. This I shall endeavour to do.
Firstly let me say that somehow Hobgoblin ale is evil. Not only does it get you far drunker than you have any sane reason to be considering how much alcohol you've consumed, but it also leads to hangovers of doom. This is a beer best avoided. You Have Been Warned.
So, last week (Monday) saw the commencement of Heroes Season 2 in the US, which meant that last week (Wednesday) saw the commencement of Heroes Season 2 in my living room. I felt this was a historic moment deserving a little pomp and merriment so I brought in some beer, wine, vodka, duck, and chow mien. I followed this up by summoning friends and commanding Gareth to sit at the computer as this seemed to hurry the download rate. Needless to say, fun was had by most if not all, and I call it a success.
Post party there was drinking with the gays.
This week saw the resumption of mine, chrome_cherry, and geeky_monkey's weekly Heroes, beer, and food evenings, hence the above comment on Hobgoblin. I whole-hearted concur with chrome_cherry's recent post hopefully found here. Though with the possible modification that not all of you are geekier than I am. Having to watch what I say on here about my favourite tv show is just a plain old fashioned drag, so everyone, get caught up already! But that's going to be the topic of another post so I'll quit ranting now and just say I can't wait until next Wednesday when we'll be gathering for Heroes Season 2 Episode 3.
Wednesday, I hear you say, not Tuesday? No, not Tuesday, because Tuesday is the LGBT's Fresher's Pub Crawl, and I have been bullied and forced (yes, they actually had to ask me) by insane_nurse to assist him in navigating a group of drunk and impressionable freshers around gay Brighton. I'm sure I'll update on how many we lost next week.
