Oh my goodness. I'm not sure I can form coherent feedback at the moment. This is just Far. Too. Funny. Wonderful job! I love your take on this universe. It's fics like these that make me glad I opened this up as a community instead of hoarding the AU. ;)

I'm glad you opened it up, too. :) It's really a lot of fun to explore the characters in this kind of setting (I'm kicking around ideas for where the new characters go). I did take a little inspiration from Firefly in this one, while trying to fit with what we know about Vala.

It was a lot of fun to write, though I had to put some effort in keeping the past and present continuity together as I wrote the fic in fits and starts. I'm glad it's finally done. (Maybe I'll finally get to work on the SG-1/Firefly crossover that's been floating in my mind for months now.)

Loved that Daniel got her to donate the bracelets, almost as much as I liked the Firefly-esque picture of our boy Daniel sitting in buck-nekkid in the desert. Nekkid Daniel is always acceptable ;)
