Wandered down to London today to run the first 'proper' session of Folded Edge for my lovely players. Successfully introduced them to their new cast member, a few NPCs and the edges of various plots, and bemused them utterly.
I'm quite impressed with Captain Reagan Kann's (
lathany) ability to explode in an utterly terrifying way under certain circumstances. I don't know how the poor dispatch worker felt, but I was intimidated :) We will not, however, talk about the tracker in the muffins ever again. No, never.
I wasn't really feeling at my sharpest, but I managed to keep just ahead of the players (it turns out I have a previously-undiscovered talent for making up NPC names on the spot) and I know where they're going next, which helps a lot* :) I had fun, they seemed to have fun too, so I guess I'll have to run some more sessions. Shucks.
* Having filled their cargo bay with a load of tacky 'I heart Dyfed' souvenirs, they are of course off to New Dixie.
