My first week of classes was soooo good. I love my classes. I already wrote one article for my Practicum class and got a 96 on the first draft, which if I correct the errors, it will be a 98. I also signed up for a debate in my Sex Roles class on Women and the Glass Ceiling that I think will be interesting. Shawn came over Thursday night and we ate spaghetti that I made and watched 3000 Miles To Graceland. It was fun!
This weekend was so great. We worked Saturday, but we were busy, so it went by quickly. Then we went over to my mom's and I got to shoot my gun! It was awesome. After I got the hang of it, I hit 15 targets in a row. We were using bottles and cans as targets. I was very pleased. The only bad thing was I noticed my grips cracked. We went to Academy and they sent it off to be fixed to Taurus. It should only take 2-3 weeks.
After we left my mom's, we went to Waffle House and hung out with my sister and ate. Sunday I ran errands and then Jeff and I went shopping and my cousin spent the night.
Today we slept in and then went horseback riding.
Oh, and more great news......Guess who is the new editor for Arts and Entertainment of The Voyager? That's right, it's me! At class on Monday, the editor-in-chief said that they were looking for an editor for that section and me and 4 other people applied. We had to do a sample story budget and everything and he called me today to tell me I got the job. I'm so excited because I get paid and everything.
Anyways, I'm very very happy with everything! More later!
