i watch the news and read the newspaper every day. i hate feeling like i dont know whats going on in the world, especially now, with so much always going on. so i totally agree w/ you about kids being so ignorant that they think its cool to know nothing of our current events. im lucky in that at my school we usually talk about the news at least once a day in some class. A lot of my friends are pretty informed, but i know people who are totally oblivious to the world, which is kinda scary considering they will help to be running it one day. as for the presidency i think its very sad that its almost a definite that brush will be our president for another term. He is an ignorant asshole who’s destroying our environment and foreign affairs. Kerry seems like a more intelligent and cable in my mind, but maybe thats juts because im a democrat.

i totally understand what you mean. i read the newspaper every day and sometimes it just gets so depressing... i cant understand why someone would hold hostage and kill innocent little children. there has got to be a better way. i feel so helpless, especially when everyone around me is so ignorant. lets do something to help the world! i love you karey!
