What TV shows, books, or movies have you been involved in the fandom for them (if any)? What is your favorite part of being involved in fandom? Have you ever gone to any conventions or meetups (whether large or small) for any fandom you've participated in?
I didn't get involved in fandoms until I started a blog on Tumblr. Before that, I just hung around waiting to meet other people who were just as into a book/show/movie as I was.
I haven't gone to any in-person meet ups or conventions. I do follow blogs specific to Supernatural and Doctor Who. Mostly I like the inside jokes and speculating on what is going on with the plot lines. I'm not super serious about any particular show. I've got a few purist things that I get irked by (like Holmes and Watson should always be played by men; that's the nature of the relationship), but not so much I feel the need to troll the internet about it.

We aren't keeping Squeak. Last night, Squeak and Siren got into it through the screen and Ood straight up attacked Siren over it. Like I had to toss a pillow kinda hard at Ood to get him off her. I know cats and territory take work, but I'm not upsetting my entire household. I'm also not going to risk 2 cats ganging up on the other while I'm not looking. Or, shit, while I am looking.
It's hard to make the decision, but it happens. I know there are other stray friendly houses around here. There's a male who got scooped up for a TNR a few weeks ago; I saw him out with his ear clip still bandaged. A few of my apartment neighbors have asked about Squeak as well, so she may just move in a few doors away.
Whatever happens, she'll be fine. I'll make sure she's got a place to be before winter. It's just not going to be here.
