Posting Frenzy!
I wasn't going to say anything, but damnit people (and this isn't necessarily directed at my friends list, just the abundantly liberal LJ community as a whole -- as if they all read my LJ :P), not EVERYONE voted for Obama. I know a lot of you blue-staters would like to sometimes think that the WHOLE world agreed with your choice, but you need to stop and take a look around you. A LOT of states only voted for Obama by as little as 1-2%, which is nowhere even NEAR everybody, in fact, half the US is actually not all that happy right now and it'd do you good to remember that.
Now, I'm not saying you don't have reason to be pleased and I'm not trying to rain on your parade. Truth be told, I've ultimately felt bad the past at least 3 elections because inevitably half the US is unhappy no matter who wins. It just irritates me when people act like it was a landslide victory for Obama and assume everyone voted for him and everyone must be overjoyed because that is so not the case.
Also, WTB viable third party options already. I'm tired of this schism in the US.
