If so, I can see that the extra 10bhp+ and the 20kg weight saving are essential upgrades for a bike that weighs slightly less than a fried breakfast and makes 160bhp at the crank as standard...

It's an aesthetic issue more than anything else. The standard cans are horrendously ugly, I mean, earthshakingly, stomach-churningly, legwettingly ugly.

Yes I understand that this can be a problem for the more elderly motorcyclist amongst us. But can I suggest you first try a more appropriate and targeted solution than all that Yoshimura bling?

I find oversized and absorbent leathers just as effective.
