On the second day of our little Utah adventure [for the more detailed version see
Tanya's entry] we spent most of the day over in
Canyonlands National Park. Canyonlands is a gorgeous park on the Colorado Plateau and is filled with countless canyons and mesas. It's also very windy. Apparently no one comes in the winter as we pretty much had the place to ourselves, the park rangers almost seemed surprised we came in the visitor center to pay and get our map [the entrance post was closed]. I collect
NPS maps, so I had to be able to add it to the huge stack on my bookshelf!
