FFNet Year 2
This is the second anniversary of my first story published on ffnet. I finished Descent into Darkness thanks to luxken and psycochick’s revival of Inuyasha Quotes. I ended up writing half of the chapters over there. Child Birth Complications came and went. I enjoyed writing at Dokuga. although my characterizations did bother a lot of people. It is the most popular story I have written, but I could do without the controversy. I seem to write in spurts.
Last year I was enthused about SessMom because I was writing the Garden of Memory cycle for knittingknots.Once it was done my interest was done too. For a while I enjoyed the Inu/Rin story I was writing but as of late my interest has lagged. I am now writing Sesshoumaru/Izayoi stories.
Although it might appear that I am a Fruits Basket and Miroku/.Sango writer, I am merely a dabbler. If the comms for which I write closed down, you probably would not see writing for either. I still retain my love for Kikyou and IK but my output as slowed.
I seem to need a push to finish these stories. Descent into Darkness might have never have finished if not for luxken and psycochick. Luxken was the person who interested me in writing SK. Without that push Child Birth Complications would not have been written. Left Behind came from a question luxken asked me about an SK story I wrote which Inuyasha had mated Rin.
In the coming year I hope to get on track and finish Left Behind. I am not sure how far I want to push Entangled. Eventually it becomes merely a chapter in the Garden of Memories Universe.
