Updates on various stuff from Jammer! Let's see... where to start?
Well, first off...
dA: I just got a message on dA saying my Final Fantasy VII Hats comic has gotten 1,000 views! As if that's some awesome milestone. Maybe I'd care if I actually had a lot more than 50 comments on it. And they're like, "OMG We'll give you an offer on a print account for $10 less than normal so you can sell your work to your fans!" My fans? My fans?? Yeah right, they're FINAL FANTASY fans, they're not my fans. And I can't make money like that off of copyrighted characters. At least they're trying to make me feel better. I guess.
Hanging Out: I got to watch some Invader Zim this past week. I had never seen it before. I don't really care for it that much. It's amusing, but eh... not my cup of tea. I've enjoyed going over to 5Lyon for lunch though and hanging out with friends/watching TV. They actually get like... cable. It would be cooler though if there weren't 234437 cruddy mid-day shows on at noon, but... that's normal of course.
Jamie, KC and I went to Denny's one night to eat. It's cool that we actually have someone to hang out with in our own apartment building. Later that week we had Jamie over to watch anime. We watched Samurai 7, enjoyed that; Kitty Grade, made fun of that; then we introduced Jamie to Magic Users Club and we all squealed over that. It's been so long since I watched that series, I need to see more!
TiVo: KC and I have been recording stuff through TiVo at her parents house. We were recording Case Closed and Naruto. I'm quite sad, because it appears Cartoon Network took off Case Closed from their programming. Just as I'm getting into it too! We've also been recording Naruto (for some reason episodes 2 and 3 got flipped, WTF). I'm enjoying that for the most part, though I'm sad that they edited out the bloody noses of the Sexy no Jutsu victims. Oh well! We were gonna watch Police Academy too, but I think her parents deleted it or the schedule got changed.
Play: KC and I went to a play last night... "Escanaba in da Moonlight." Weird little Yooper story. I'm gonna have to ask my mom about some of the stuff in it, since she's a Yooper. I also need to find some music to torture KC with by "Da Yoopers." It's really cheesy stuff, but good for giggles, I think, assuming it's as amusing as I remember.
I'm missing stuff, but that'll be all for now. I should look for those tapes...
