The Land of Dreamers is HIRING!!
As most of you already know, The Land of Dreamers originally started as just a LiveJournal Community. The relationships made because of Bobby, Sam and Marcus all started on the pages of this Community. People who were once strangers came together with one common goal...to help spread the word about these musicians and meet others who enjoy them as well. Over the last year or so, Facebook and Twitter have become the normal way to communicate with people...and that works well too, but the true foundation of this fansite comes from the concrete walls of this little LiveJournal Community.
So I think its time to reach out and get more people involved in this community. We are hiring additional moderators. A moderator is someone who has more than just posting access to this community. With this title comes alot of responsibilities. You will be counted on to make sure that you visit daily and post...to help make sure all the updates have been posted...and to help bring the community aspect back to our community.
Moderator Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of LiveJournal - must know how to post videos, html, polls etc.
Must have time daily to visit this site and play =)
Graphic Design knowledge is a plus
We would like to take the activity on this page back up to the level that it was in the beginning. Icon posts, pic spams, video posts, more concert reviews and weekly chats so that our members have a place to meet other members.
Please submit a link to your personal LiveJournal and a short summary of why you would make the ideal canidate for a moderator to landofdreamers@gmail.com.
Graphic Designers:
We are also looking for Graphic/Web designers to help with revamping our sites. If you are interested in helping, send us a link to some of your work to landofdreamers@gmail.com.
Facebook Admins:
We also think that all updates should be posted to Facebook as well! And there is so much more room to have fun with the members on Facebook as well. Daily Status updates, links to videos, and articles...If you are interested in helping with the Facebook, send me a message at www.facebook.com/allisfair and tell me why you think you would rock as a Facebook Admin! =)
On a side note, to those of you that are already helping out, you are doing an amazing job! It's been a slow year as far as big news goes with our guys, but we still have managed to keep this community going and it is all because of you guys...the people who post here and on Twitter and Facebook. Keep up the good work and lets all smile with the thoughts of making this community the best it has ever been! The power of fans...thats the bottom line...we have infinate power! =)
