Hi ladies!
Went to Bobby's show last night at Hotel Cafe. Is he becoming more polished now in his performances? He's so fabulous, and his guitar playing was fuckin' awesome, I can't say enough about him, really. If I used all the superlative adjectives in the dictionary, that'd be overkill! But that's sort of how I feel about last night.
There a funny moment involving a "goat girl" lol
OK, so I have a question: I have been following thaifer 's tweets and she mentions a Joni Joe. Is she someone who bought Bobby's new guitar?
ALSO, I want to say it was so lovely to meet some people last night after the show. The short lady with blonde hair who manages the LodStreetCali Tweet. I'm following that now, and Becky? Was so cute, trying to convince me to see Sam Bradley when I didn't express much enthusiasm about seeing him live. Oooops. But now I want to, though he's not coming to LA this summer. Anyone know why?
And Sheila! Lovely to see you again, too, though we didn't get to talk much.
Bobby, as always, was gracious and seemed really grateful for people coming out to see him last night. That boy is movin' on up. I got a couple of CDs and a poster for him to sign. He wore a cute button down polka dot shirt and amusingly enough, it sort of fit him.
Friday is Marcus Foster! My first time seeing him live, wooot!
