Nikki's husband, Todd, works in a restaurant. When Nikki and Todd went to Nashville to see Bobby and Sam, Todd got to speak with Bobby at length. Todd's also a musician, so they have that commonality. Anyway..
Todd was working the other night, and was waiting on a group of ladies who looked to be having a discussion group. He noticed they had the Twilight books, and were talking about them. These were ladies around our ages, definitely not teenagers, lol. So, Todd starts talking to them about Twilight, since he's a good husband, and listens to Nikki go on about it, and watched the movie with her. I guess they were telling him the get-together was to celebrate Rob's birthday. Todd asked them if they enjoyed Rob's music, and they said they loved everything he did, lol.
And, then Todd asks them if they liked Bobby or Sam. They didn't know the names, so Todd explained that they co-wrote two of the songs on the Twilight soundtrack. They oooh'd and ahhh'd. Todd went on and told them Bobby had a song on iTunes that they should check out, gave them Nikki's email address and told them about LoD. He suggested they email Nikki if they were interested, and gave them the URL for the LoD website. In short, our KY leader's hubs just totally pimped out Sam and Bobby to a bunch of Twilight ladies!!!!
I think that Todd needs his own laminate for that bit of work, don't you???? LOL :D
