A brief reminder from another LJ tells me it's been a year since some major shit hit the fan. Tick tock goes the clock, but some things never change, some things never heal, and sometimes it doesn't matter. I'm here, I'm alive, I'm in one piece. Am I better for it? Yep. Glad it panned out the way it did? Nope. Betrayal leaves a rotten taste in your mouth (IF you're on my friends list, you know what I'm talking about, and it's not anyone on this list). That's not just regarding a year's-past event, it's a general statement.
I found out a few things today. One - someone whose authenticity couldn't seemingly be 100% - is. Two - winter, no matter how long it's taken a break, will still kick your ass. BRRRR. Three - I like to count in textual numbers. Four - I need to get the fuck out of here.
