I NEEED a new vehicle. I mean I seriously need one, my blazer is pretty much dead. I took it in for the VA inspection and it failed miserably, it has an exhaust leak and a ball joint is loose. I am pretty certain if I repaired it, it would still be worth less than what I paid for the repairs. Plus I just let the registration expire. I am thinking of going with a Mitsubishi Montero Sport. There are a couple of Monteros listed on autotrader that have low mileage and are around 12,000. I'll see if I can bargain them down. One in Rockville has the TVs in the back, not that I would ever use them, but that's badass. Well, maybe I can use that to bargain a 2WD one w/ 8K less mileage down.
Also, I really have to cancel a bunch of shit and take my cable down to the very basic. I mean, I like having this extra tier of channels and these movie channels, but I just really shouldn't be shelling out the money for them. I think the only one I am really going to miss is the IFC. Man, they play some great stuff on IFC, but I really really need to control my expenses and start paying down this home equity loan. I also have to cancel the Earthlink account that is basically used for collecting spam and anything else that I may have subscribed to and forgotten about.
Fucking telemarketers, they call relentlessly from 9AM until 9PM. I have been tempted to put myself on the do not call list, but that would conflict with my libertarian views that the DNC list is not the governments job. Instead I have put a bid on a telezapper on eBay. It'll cost me less than $10 and it's a free market solution. Hurray for capitalism.
