Basements and Blunders, Mauvaise Chance Apartments, Friday Evening.
Well, hell.
The power had gone out, and Quark was sure that his tenants were going to come grumble at him when they were cold. So, he had two options. One was to go up and climb into the Quark's Treasure Mark II, and hide out with the nice crispy warm life support system and replicator.
He begrudgingly chose the second option, which was to find out if there was a back-up generator in the basement. As he is the only one with a key, he grabs a flashlight and starts walking down the stairs.
Opening up the door, and locking it behind himself for safety, Quark begins exploring the basement...
...and promptly hits his head on a low-hanging beam, knocking him unconscious.
