Kemono no Souja Erin
I would say that this is one of the longer than 26 episodes anime that I kept myself to watch as it is really good. The story-telling might be slow at first, but I would said that it was perfectly paced.
It is simply drawn and animated, but it has made my heart felt warmth and made me sob for some episodes. I hardly cried for anime or shows. Although the main targeted audience for the anime is meant for kids, there are too much depth in the story itself. It was simplified to be easily brought across to a younger audience. Violent scenes are replaced by colourful tribal looking key-framed illustrated animation.
10 more episodes to go! Means 10 more weeks! T_T I wonder how it will end. And for the 1st time I have "shipped" a straight pairing with the protagonist of the anime. LOL. Although I think there's nothing gonna happen between them. LOL.
I think the novel will show more of the darker parts of the story itself which is made redundant in the anime. It will be interesting to read, but I need it to be in English. T_T
