it's good to be home

OKAY quick update.

Life here is amazing :) I LOVE HONG KONG! except for all the creepy men! I hate how I'm treated like I'm Pamela Anderson because girls have mosquito bites as boobs here. And everyone still thinks I'm Korean...

Living here's GREAT.. I live in Mongkok which is actually WONG kok in Chinese, and lemme tell ya, it's absolutely WONG here. It's busy no matter the time of the day... it's awesome. I've realized that I really adjust to different environments really well... I can adapt to the quiet, relaxed Canadian way, but I also love the busy, hectic Asian life. Everyone I talk to here tells my sister and I to move back here. Maaaybe... I DO love Hong Kong.. :D Although to be honest, there are a lot of times that I dread the rudeness of HKers.

Besides from that, visiting families is good. My uncle is positive about things :) Just hope my aunt can cope with it in the future. Family friends are amazing too. They treat us to lunch/dinner all the time (although 90% of the time it's DIM SUM), they're also trying to get us discounted tickets to OCEAN WORLD (yayayyyaya) and free entrance to Disneyland!

Shopping is pretty good, though I wouldn't call it amazing, because as I expected I don't quite like the HK style. Although yes, it's really about how you put it together yourself. And that is why I've walked away with (Canadian prices)
- 8$ flats
- 8$ camis
- 5$ leather flip fops
- 20$ pumps!!!!!!!! (joanne & I are considered TALL here - no kidding. yet everywhere you go they only have kitten heels yuck :P)
- 10$ totes
And tons more, I can't even remember right now :D

Ok I lied, this wasn't that short after all. But just to let my dearly beloveds know I'll be in HK at least until June 6 (Yessssss) because we're waiting for our HK/China passport so we won't need a visa to get in. then it's about 20 days straight in mainland!

Alright that's about it, miss you guys! And thanks MAAATTT!!! for getting me Muse tickets :) HELLS YA.
