Wow, blogging twice in one day... that takes me back, way back.
Silly me, why didn't I bother looking out the window while typing the last entry? All I remember was seeing this girl walk in, soaked. The next thing I know I was caught in a severe snowstorm, struggling to get to Bader from Pratt which is normally a 2-minute walk.
I hated it at first, probably because I was just SO mentally prepared for spring. But after the storm has calmed, I actually started to enjoy it. The snowstorm equated to a SNOW DAY for U of T, libraries, and all the busy people at offices - paralyzing the city. Come on, when was the last time we got a snow day? And to be honest, walking through all that soft, clean snow was kinda fun and definitely made me wish I could go toboganning and make snow angels in my fat snow pants from elementary school...
While Al Gore is still living it big from all the lovin' he's getting from Hollywood, he can certainly take some credit for reiterating over and over again that mother nature just ain't so... natural no more.
Not that we shouldn't be expecting any snowstorms in March, we do live in Southern Ontario after all. Point is, how the hell did we get 4 inches of snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, thunder and lightening in one afternoon?
Now to a whole bunch of decisions I gotta make in the upcoming days and months....
I think I'm gonna go with a little 'black and white affair' (and pearls) for Highball since I failed to find any beige that struck me as Old Hollywood.
Ah, Placebo in town.. to go or not to go? Ecoman, frosh leader, Spanish major... ???
Okay now to take my mind off of things and let's look at the materialistic side of my life (once again) and drool...
Despite a little stumbling here and there while walking in these babies on ice, I'm in love with my Nine West's.
