'Yes, sir. Landels is quite the dreadful place, both day and night.. Albeit nighttime is slightly more preferable. No games played, no facades for them to hide behind.' Figuring Xemnas was wont to follow him, Saïx held his ripped arm up against his own chest to make certain more blood did not flow into it than necessary. The finger he had all but gnawed clean of flesh was throbbing strangely, and he gave it a disparaging look. Bone and tendon showing through the little flesh that was still left was a rather nasty thing to see indeed. But he had to ignore it for the moment. He opened the door to his cell with the right hand instead, stepping out into the darkness of the corridor after looking out briefly - left? right? - to make certain it was safe.
Even his animal eyes could spy nothing strange in the darkness around them.
'Come,' he murmured, not even looking over his shoulder for fear of something appearing out of the passage when he wasn't looking. 'We go right from here to the end of the corridor. It's.. not very far, but far enough for something to go wrong. So please stay close, sir. We're both safer that way.'
