[There's a lot to that story. He decides to start off with the basics:]

I'm not sure how he knows His Majesty, but... his name is Vanitas and he works with a man named Xehanort. He also uses the Keyblade and is highly dangerous.

He won't be able to use the Keyblade here, much like anyone else can't. That's one thing we have going for us.

Yes. It's... it's a long story, but he caused Ven a lot of suffering and destroyed our home. I... made the mistake of trusting him in the beginning.

Ven's with Aqua in Cherrygrove now, that's where I'm headed. I know Vanitas is going towards that direction too, but I'll do whatever I can to make sure everyone's safe.
