There are a lot of jokes about how batman sounded when speaking in the latest batman movies. Everyone is doing the hoarse grandpa these days. Im more concerned for Batmans lung health than impressed by his intimidating demeanor. Im wondering now how the Batman/Bruce Wayne character came up with his voice disguise. It seems like a simple piece of tech dreamed up by the Wayne lab could have assisted. But Batman decided to sit in a room one day and cycle through a series of vocal distortions. Probably shaking his head at times and being like, no no, not effective enough, must dig deeper. Finally he settles on this throaty flemmy throat parade. I bet when he finally decided, he was standing in front of the mirror and as soon as that perfect throaty voice came out he looked himself in his mirror eye and said "Damn fucking right!". The only thing worse than the voice is people obsessing about it.
