Back to work...
Blah!
You know, I REALLY hate going back to work after a week long holiday! I've been on a week long vacation where I finally got some time to relax and take it easy. It was really nice. All I wanted to do today was sleep in, but no, I had to go to work! And it was a busy day today! I had an almost full schedule of six classes. Thankfully, they were all intermediate to advanced, so no extremely hard work on the first day back. I also got a sneak peak at my schedule for the next month. I'm really happy about it, but I got a couple more REALLY low classes added to my schedule, oh well! I guess it all balances out somehow!
But, I'm exhausted after today. I know it doesn't sound like much, but teaching English to Japanese people is really challenging, but also rewarding and insightful. Today our group lessons had a speech unit. They shared their insights on the Japanese education system. This is the third time I've taught this lesson, and it always floors me to learn just how much people want the education system changed. I also prepped six classes for next week. Just gotta prep four more, and I'll be one week ahead!
