Ok so here's the big update

The internship is going really well. I’m getting doing a lot of things and have several projects under my belt. One of them includes revising the specification of corrugated board (cardboard). This spec is referred to buy every order that is placed. All the boxes, inserts and signage order will refer to this spec. This means it has to be perfect. Also, my name is on it. This should look good on a resume.

I'm finding that the hard part is not all the technical knowledge, but learning how to do it in a administrative setting. Questions like "who do I contact for this?", "How do I fill this out", and "How do I find this?" are repeated coming out of my mouth. Everyone has been understanding, and willing to help out.

As for life in Sheboygan, that’s another story. There really isn't much to do here if you don't have a family. I play a lot of golf because there are great courses that I get discounts at. As far as eating establishments, they are few and far between too (Christina will agree with me). Although, there is a great place called Stefano's. Its Authentic Italian food, prepared authentically also. There's also, Legend Larry's (Wings) and Skybox (sports bar) are the bars I frequent. Skybox has a band on Saturdays for some entertainment. A local race track provides some too.

I can't see myself living in a place like this long term. Too bleak. NO BEST BUY!!!! That’s the worst part. They have stated that they are fully staffed and won't be looking to fill positions. It would take a huge offer for me to come to a place like this. It's a great place to work, but there's nothing else here. Not enough for a city guy like me.

Kohler does make some great products, some really expensive products too. The high-end designer rainmaker shower head can be yours for only $7500. That’s not a typo. I shower head that cost the same as a car. There is also a faucet that mounts on the ceiling. You can also have a waterfall installed in your shower. Flowing at 85 gallon/min. extra large water heater not included. I took Christina to the Design Center while she was visiting, and she fell in love with that (the shower junkie that she is).

All in all it's been good, but I'm glad it's not long-term.
