I don't know anything about a game along the names of Osprey/The Food Chain, but I do remember a 5.25" floppy 'B Side' sort of game from MECC. Odell Lake. For II/iigs/etc.

I think that's it, actually! Let me see if I can download it and play it a bit. I don't remember it having a scenic background, though. Only a blue sky.

I really don't think there are too many other "YOU ARE A FISH - EAT OTHER FISH" games... I just remember borrowing this game so often to play on my IIgs at home so it came to mind immediately.

Sounds kinda like Shark! Shark! for the Intellivision, except for the osprey part.

I remember it was something I played on AppleIIe's back in grade school, but I can't recollect the proper name. I do recall a flight simulator from the mid 90s called 'osprey' though, but that has nothing to do with your question!

All I'm going to say here is that I have to support the folks locally who keep those things flying right now. The Osprey, that is... we've got a few here at the base locally, some at Kirkland AFB in New Mexico, and a few in 'places better left unmentioned.'
