Novel So Far

Dec 26, 2010 20:11

It's been a highly productive day.

For the last few days, I've been cranking out words, but they were pretty bad. Today, I felt like I was writing again, and I wrote about 2,000 solid words, getting my story back on track. It had been slogging through backstory and drudgery for a bit, but I had some true movement. Also, my characters are starting to meet up. I'm already digging the interaction.

I'm starting to get a schedule down. I hope I can maintain it for the week. I have some family coming in still. I can only hope for the best.

Speaking of family, it's funny to see the different reactions. Some people--like my dad--are quite supportive and friendly. Others are bit put off. Some people just don't even care at all. That's why it's been nice to have the Arm stuff online. I'd feel cut off in my own novel world without it. So thanks ya'll for the word counts and comments. They help me. I hope they help you too.

That's about all for now.

I have written 19,281 of 50,000 words.
I am now 38.56% done!
