Basicaly, best ever. To me, it's like someone told her "Ok, Barbie So Carolina, your question is going to be about aid relief to South Africa and Iraq" then when she got a different question, her brain went into complete melt down.
With this public computer I'm using, I'm unable to play the clip, but that still seems mean to me. If they spend so much time preparing for aid-relief questions, they should *get* aid relief questions. Switching the inquiries while they're up on stage with the cameras rolling is bound to unnerve them.
It's not like they can just afford to state their honest opinion in blunt terms, not when there's so much at stake riding on an eloquent and politically correct answer.
No, I dont mean like the pagant said "We'll be asking questions about the war and south africa" I mean that a rival or a bad manager said, "Ok, Barbie, I just peeked at the judges list of questions and you're getting one about Iraq and South African aid"
I've done on the spot interviews like the ones done in pagents; it's not that hard to think on the spot. All she had to say was that it is a shame that US schools are falling behind standards and that the government would be doing better to invest money in American schools rather than wars overseas.
The comedy comes in the fact that the girl, no matter how bright she is in real life, came off as dumber than the people mentioned in the question.
