(no subject)
I had a spur-of-the-moment type event today. I decided that I wanted change. For the good, of course. Sooo, I did it. I had my hair dyed dark at Parisians--very dark. I think its mysterious and I like it. I really dont feel goth or anything, its just a change..a needed change.
Very sad news today--
*Our last recital is ruined.
-- The competition segment (which is the BEST part of the whole thing) is split between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon this year. Our "special" quartet dance that I wanted my grandma to see so badly is on Saturday night when she is unable to come. Im sad. Kathy and I did some much needed complaining and expressed our feelings directly to our teachers so that we wouldnt have to do it behind their backs- which is good :) I just feel like our whole senior year with dance has been a total downfall from the very beginning, I just wanted everything to do perfect and smooth like all the years past, but it didnt turn out that way.
Im excited about Auburn =)
I got my yellow sash thing for National Honor Society wednesday to wear for graduation. Its what I have really worked for the whole time ive been in high school. That may sound stupid, but I really wanted this and I have successfully accomplished one of my life-long goals.. and there are many more to go!
Today was great except for the news about dance. I went to my dads work for about an hour.. then we picked up my step-mom and went to B.B. Perrins to eat. I was so sad when they closed and am so happy now that they are back open. I love my dad, we had a good talk today.. I swear im his favorite kid and I managed to squeeze a little cash out of him today.
I need a job.. any suggestions?
