What's worse than lobsters on your piano?
Having lots of fun here, though I am really busy.
Last night.
First i went to a master class by Marilyn Horne, who's like an uber-famous opera singer and teacher. It was amazing, she took these people who i thought sounded fine and made them sound amazing. It made me really happy.
After that, what was there to do but play zombie capture the flag? There had been posters up so we decided to go check it out. We all (about 100 people) went to this alley/parking lot in the middle of town. The point was to avoid the zombies while looking for a walkie talkie. Once you found the walkie takie you had to radio to the organizer who would tell you where the base was and then run to it. If you got captured by a zombie you would turn into a zombie and have to walk around draging one foot. There was noe real capture the flag involved. We all agreed that it was way to much fun to be allowed but that there were other things to do with the evening, like...
Call Linnea. Which is always a joy. She told me something very important, though which is I will be in town for the bake sale concert. So if you are there after the concert, look for me, because I will be there too.
And then I went to get dressed for the non-alcoholic cocktail party, but realized that I wouldn't have time to make an appearance before the organ pump. I was half-dressed anyways, so Sarah (my roommate) and I walked to the organ pump looking very good and met some other very good looking people with whom we sat. This organ pump was even more fun than the last one because this was the halloween one. The winner of the organ pun contest was announced and it was: What's worse than lobsters on your piano? Crabs on your organ. Yeah, they read the submissions and that was actually the best one. I should have entered.
