I really don't update this enough.
Today we had company over. One of my moms good friends passed away unexpectedly a few months ago, so she decided to invite her husband and daughter over. We caught up on so much. The daughter, Karen, is a great person and it has been so long since I saw her but we had a lot of fun just talking. Turns out she has some things in common with me so maybe I'll give her a call in the summer to do some things.
I went to see Trevor up in Canada last week. I miss him. I should have never let him go back up there. He finally just got a job this week so he will work a little, get his license back and get a passport and hopefully he will be back here in the summer. I can't wait. Hopefully by that time i'll find a place to move out to and everything will be better.
So, i went up to the Woodbury Commons yesterday after work to see if i could find my mom something nice for a good price. I went into the Harry and David store and bought candy I shouldnt have. Luckily it was only chocolate covered cherries and raspberries (turns out they are really apples but they lie in the name) and dried mangos which are so good, they should be candy, not dried fruit. All the items are so sweet you cant really eat too much so it is going to take us a while to eat all of it.
I then headed into the Coach Factory store (after browsing in the Kate Spade store which I fell in love with this green purse i saw in there for $150.. i talked myself out of buying it cause I wasnt sure what else I would buy while i was up there). I didnt really see any purses I had to have but came upon sunglasses which i hear are hard to find in outlets. I fell in love with a pair of Evas. They have little dragonflies on the sides and are really cute. they were more than 1/2 off so i couldnt resist. I was looking into getting a new pair of sunglasses anyway and i saw a cute pair of Fossil ones but for like $20 more, I got these. They come in a hard case that will keep me from scratching them up. I'm so excited about them and they actually look cute on me. oh, here they are
http://www.coach.com/assets/product_images/drilldown1/s436_d1.jpg oh, got to do a bunch of things up in Canada. Went to see 300 (which was great, specially all those half nekkid buff men >.>) and Grindhouse (gotta love gory cheesy horror films. The little motor bike part just made me crack up laughing). Also got to go to the Museum of Man and Nature up in Winnipeg. They had this CSI: Manitoba thing going on that you had to solve the "murder" to win a trip to either NYC, Miami or Las Vegas. Of course you had to be a Canadian resident to win so i just put Trevor's mom's name in but had a lot of fun doing it. They also have a full size replica of a pirate ship up there, called the Nonesuch. It was built in 1968(give or take a year or two) and sailed to Europe and was sent back to the states, did a tour there and toured around Canada to be placed in Winnipeg and then the museum (or the room, not sure which) was built around it. It's pretty cool. You can even go on it. The bunks are so tiny and the stairs are so steep. But you can pretend you are a pirate.. yar!
anyway, i think thats it.
