Confirmation... Sort of anyway.
Since my last post on Monday.
Had some contractions late on Monday night (for 2 hours, approximately 20 minutes between them, each contraction was only a few seconds). And yesterday everyone was positive that bub had dropped. I wasn't so sure, considering that I was still getting heartburn (ok, so it wasn't as bad as it had been, but it was still there).
Anyway, it felt like the bub had dropped somewhat, but, seeing as I was still getting heartburn and bub was still able to climb up under my ribs, I was starting to think that bub may not have dropped fully.
Well today I had my confirmation of that. Bub has only dropped 4/5 of the way, so he is not fully engaged. My doctor thinks it could be another week before he drops the rest of the way (but she won't say that for sure - it has been known for babies to drop and mothers to go into labour immediately after).
Having my parents and brother over for dinner Friday night (as long as nothing has happened), I'm trying to be more domestic than I have been. Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to cook. Oh Well.
