Only A Scare
Being pregnant really means that my emotions are all over the place. And since we had the 'family' emergancy early this week, it has been more so.
But what actually scared me.
Jus would say more like terrified me.
I've been spotting all week (nothing to worry about), but today on coming back from lunch I went to the loo, to find bright red blood. Absolutely terrifying.
Called my doctor and was sent straight away for an ultrasound. Had to call half my family to get a lift to the hospital, finally got hold of mum and she took me and stayed with me til Jus arrived. My sister also came down to make sure I was alright.
The relief that came once I saw that heartbeat on the screen was indecribable.
But I also learnt something new as well, namely that I should not drink a full litre of water even if they tell me too. Since I had to half empty my bladder before she could see anything. She said that I should only drink half a litre and then the rest only while waiting so that the absolute pain I was in with my over-full bladder will not be repeated.
So, all in all a very interesting day. But the jellybean (that now has arms and legs) is fine.
