Babies in Edson
Hello Everyone
well this is going to be short because it is late, and this keyboard is seriously going to give me arthritis in 5 minutes or less.
At the moment I am in Edson, a couple hours away from Edmonton. I came here to visit my brother Cory and his family. I've been here for almost 3 full days now and I've seen more puke and poop during this time than I have in the last 3 years. And you know what? It is awsome!
Now I know it is annoying to hear people go on about children that they do not know, but here is a little bit. My oldest niece is almost 4 so she really likes to pretend play, have hugs, be thrown about, and you don't have to feed her or change a diaper. That is awsome. It is also really nice when I hear her call me 'auntie' and ask for me :) Today I was a princess and had my own personal 'crown maintenance worker' who helped me, like every 3 seconds.
My nephew is a very big boy, who has the awsomest grumpy face I have ever seen. He'll look at you with furrowed eyebrows and the next second he's giggling away and headbanging to Dora the Explorer music. He also gives great big hugs and like to yell loud while doing it. He also fell asleep yesterday on the couch rocking with the new monkey doll I brought over for them - cute!
My youngest niece is rolling around now, belly-crawling quite quickly. She has the most intense eyes, and the unibrow frams them nicely. A little rolly-polly girl, she's exploring everything and everywhere. It is funny to watch the two younger ones play together. A lot of the time if they are 'alone' you'll find them laying beside each other and playing.
Ha, well that is about it for now. Edson itself is a redneck town with not a whole lot to do. But it is fun to be here and tomorrow I get to do it all over again :)
