Now that the featured parties have seen their surprise present, I can post the associated links...
scalpel bought the Party Crasher column in the Stranger (via Strangercrombie), and used it to pay tribute to the HoP. He wrote a beautiful column, available [here]. I conned the core hosting team into posing for a photo (published in not-chopped-up form in the print version of the paper).
The desired reaction was achieved, and the HoP has gained a new measure of notoriety. :)
