Another of Val Cox Frit’s new blends - an amazing orange called “Rise n Shine.”

Rise n Shine
Buy this frit at ValcoxFrit.com A lively blend of transparents and opaques that range in the yellow to orange range. The transparent yellows give the impression of radiating light from within when combined with clear.

NOTE ABOUT ORANGE
The yellow and orange colors do not contain lead, which normally makes furnace glass more adaptive in coe. If you are working with Effetre (104coe) or Bullseye (90coe), work this blend on the surface, instead of encasing, to avoid cracking issues.
Orange will become black where it comes in contact with silver foil or a base glass containing silver, such as Effetre Ivory.
Amy’s Notes:
While orange/yellow are not the most versatile colours, these are some of the prettiest combination I’ve seen. They won’t go with a lot of other glasses because the chemistry to make orange/yellow tends to react with almost everything else. But nonetheless, I found some very pretty colour combos, and absolutely LOVED this blend when used with plain old clear.
From my paddle tests, you can see that the addition of silver foil can create some very interesting reactions with this blend, which may or may not be what you’re looking for.
