day 27: "Don't tell me what I can't do": an ode to John Locke

Apr 27, 2015 19:03

As today was a P.A. Day, and I am not yet a real-life paid and employed teacher (someone hire me, darn it!), I spent the afternoon preparing favour boxes and decor for my son's upcoming birthday party, all whilst watching season one episodes of Lost. As a result, today's poem is a silly little tribute to my favourite character from the series, Mr. John Locke. I suppose that makes this fan-poetry. Ah, TV memories.

Walk about,
John Locke,
With your citrus grin
Island sage
Patient
man of faith
Discussing your
Backgammon symbolism

napowrimo, poetry, lost, telly, writing
