Dollhouse, the end.

GOD. I loved it, I loved it, I loved it. It put me in tears, as expected, and oh, am I ever going to miss these characters.

  • Topher. Oh, Topher. In a way I saw it coming. His self-sacrifice brought him redemption. Fran Kranz was SO SO GOOD. I don't even have the words for how good he was in this episode and this role in general. I hope he gets more work soon, because he is just brilliant.
  • I've always loved how Adelle is fiercely protective of Topher. Their relationship really evolved over the course of the show into something beautiful. "You're not coming back." "I didn't want to cause any more pain." They broke my heart. Olivia Williams, amazing as always.
  • Echo's breakdown made me cry, which I did not expect. (Well done, ED. Truly.) Paul's death was so Wash-like. I never much liked him as a character, but I did hope he and Echo would have a happy ending. (Question: Did Topher leave the Paul imprint out for Echo at the end, or was it Adelle?)
  • Speaking of Wash, Alan Tudyk? Kind of awesome. Also, hilarious. I would like to know more about how Alpha evolved, though.
  • Another unanswered question: what happened to Mr. Dominic? What happened to him after the flashback we saw in Epitaph I? How did he get out of the Attic again? Questions!
  • Summer! Felicia Day! I have nothing specific to say about these two except that I ♥ them. Oh, and I loved that they made Mag gay. Good times.
  • So glad that Victor and Sierra got the happy ending they deserved. I was worried there for a minute or two.
  • It's over. Sigh.
