baby it's cold outside
Toronto issues cold-weather alert. Anybody ever read the comments on some of the Star articles and come away wanting to bang your head against the wall repeatedly? I don't know why I keep doing it to myself. The weather ones are the worst: "Edmonton/Winnipeg/the North Pole must be laughing at us. It gets much colder/snows several feet at a time there. Sometimes people have to walk to work in snowshoes! It's so cold there they've developed an immunity to hypothermia! Instead of cars, everyone just drives snowmobiles or rides dog sleds!" And my favourite, "Where's your global warming now? Oh ho ho." SHUT. UP.
Sorry, but cold is cold, especially for those who don't have the luxury of, say, a HOME, (i.e. those individuals who are the main focus of the article/warnings.)
I am still perturbed that I didn't get to watch the Carolina game last night. There was PM yelling! I know this because TSN taunted me with a very brief clip of it in their highlight reel. Cogeco, I shake my fist in your general direction.
On a lighter note, here, have a cat macro. It's adorable.
ETA: I watched Wait Until Dark last night, and it actually succeeded at making me jump one or two times. P.S. - Oh hi, strangely attractive 30-something Alan Arkin.
