Thank the moon my husband has excellent dental coverage. Thank the stars. $1600 for the endodontist to fix my botched root canal, $125 for today's "consult" - (yeah.. when will my time ever be worth that much, I wonder?). Dude showed me my x-ray up next to the x-ray of a typical "good root canal", and mine looks like I had it done by a guy who got his degree out of a cereal box - only one root was filled, when apparently there are typically four. Yes, sorry, I am sure this is all very fascinating. I may need to get more x-rays, the endodontist says, but I will have two lead aprons, and supposedly it is all very safe, (though that assurance did little to prevent me from having a crying fit in the van after the appointment). The fix will be done over two separate visits, at least. I am anxious about it all, but I would very much like to save that tooth, and I don't need to be dealing with any sort of infection or extra pain during this pregnancy (which my dentist, my husband's uncle, whom I trust a great deal, says will worsen over time).
Did anyone notice any actual hockey-playing going on during last night's Toronto @ Montreal brawl? Somehow the score was 6-2 at the end. I noticed Stajan was back, and my heart sunk for him when he found little cause to celebrate his goal in the third period. Poor Matty.
