Except for the whole thing about banning gay marriage in three states and adoption for unmarried couples in one. I'm looking at you, "yes" voters in Arkansas, Arizona, California, and Florida. I'm just a lowly Canadian here, so maybe I'm missing something, but who says there should be a prerequisite for adopting a child beyond financial stability and a happy, healthy home environment? That is some pretty heavy duty FAIL right there, Arkansas. This is in tiny font as I do not wish for it to take away from the congratulatory tone of the post. An Obama presidency is still a step forward - good for America, good for the world.
