Abi mastered pulling herself up to a sitting position a few weeks ago and, just the other day, pulling herself up to a standing position. Her crawling is getting better as well. I fear she may be getting too ambitious, as today I had to stop her from trying to stand on my mother's hardwood kitchen floor with absolutely no support.
New favourite song of the moment: City & Colour (featuring Gordon Downie) - Sleeping Sickness.
New favourite show of the moment: So You Think You Can Dance Canada. Now, Leah Miller is miles away from Cat Deeley, but I have so many favourites in the top 20. Top two - Allie the ballerina and Nico (guh - don't get me started).
I watched three quarters of the English language Canadian debate, and I couldn't make it through the last bit. Stephen Harper came off as fake and smug, big surprise. Weasel! I think Jack Layton has a lot of good ideas, but I am a sometime supporter of the Greens, so I'm a bit torn. I'd like to know more about the NDP's plans with regards to the environment. Must research.
