1. Nooooo, Mark and Chelsie. *sadface* I am broken-hearted over their departure, but they both had classy exits, and their little hug-spin at the end almost broke my television with adorable overload.
2. Cat Deeley made a Star Wars reference. It cannot be said enough: she is awesome.
3. Lady GaGa time travelled here from the 1980s and got stuck, didn't she? What the hell was that giant glowing rock candy thing, and why was she doing pelvic thrusts at the audience?
4. Mark. *sigh*
Off to watch Project Runway in hopes that it will cheer me up.

#7 Pearl Jam - Better Man

Released: 1994
Vitalogy was one of the first CDs I ever owned. (I would say bought, but I got it for Christmas when I was 13, along with Sheryl Crow's Tuesday Night Music Club and something else I can't remember.) Sadly, but for three songs, it is composed of mostly garbage. Those three are "Nothingman", "Corduroy", and my choice for number seven, "Better Man".
I read somewhere that Eddie Vedder didn't want to record the song for Vs. because he thought it was too accessible. Oh, Eddie. Such pretty hair, but so very little sense. It is a great song precisely because it is so accessible. They were going to give it away, but somehow it ended up on Vitalogy, which was all the better for it.
