Abi got her four month vaccinations today. She grimaced during the first one and then screamed through the second, which also made her bleed what seemed to me to be quite a bit. Ugh. I don't mind shots or having blood drawn so much myself, but it is so tough to watch her go through all that. She had been babbling happily to Scott, me, and the doctor mere seconds before the nurse came in to administer the vaccinations. On the way home she sobbed some, and I held her hand and sang to her until she eventually fell asleep. Of course, I imagine it was just the car ride that put her to sleep and not my singing, which leaves much to be desired. Presently, she is in fine spirits.
The doctor's scale had her at about 13 lbs 4 oz., but I remember that their scale weighs lower than the one they have at the pediatrician's, which is digital and more accurate, so I would say she's closer to 14 lbs.
Also:
Tim Hortons has these new completely wonderful whole grain raspberry muffins, but they're like eight points and I still have about six more pounds to lose, so they can't become a regular thing for me. Plus, every time I go near a TH the freshly brewed coffee aroma nearly drives me mad. Yes, I still miss coffee.
There is a guy on this season of Hell's Kitchen who, if you closed your eyes, you would totally think is Owen Wilson.
I am psyched for all the regular tv shows to return - The Office (tonight!), House, Lost..
