I went to this used furnishings store the other day with my mum and got two fancy gold beaded lamps. Or, mum got them for Scott and me as a housewarming gift or whatever. It was funny because the owner of the store thought I was Mum and D.'s interior decorator. Ha. Maybe I missed my calling. (Hey, it's never too late to try a new road!) Mum asked the guy what the store's policy was on returns/refunds, i.e. what would we do if my husband didn't like the lamps, and the guy replied, "Then we change the husband." Heh. We also took a trip to Dollarama to pick up some light bulbs and a bunch of junk for the kitchen at the new house. Ah, the new house. So close yet so far away. I'm not looking forward to the move. Scott thinks it's going to be cake, because he's on the drugs, you see. Oh well. We'll survive. If any of my Beatles stuff gets crumpled/broken/lost though, I'm going to have to start busting heads.
