Being a creature bound by rote and rite, I find the Human lack of respect for previous wards quite abominable. Their's are the mindsets of heretics lashing out at the Natures of natural things because they themselves have created a timing to bind themselves that is so unnatural. Their's are the whims of spoiled gods who have drank too much and grown haughty as the years find them still reigning as Kings. Do they think of the previous rulers? Do they care about the fate the blind instincts suffer? Some do, surely. Have you heard the latest armies of jokes and insults aimed at those who care? I wonder how many stars I'll be able to count tonight, when I try to peer up through the haze of these city lights...
